The Department of Legal Studies, LCIT College of Commerce and Science, Bodri, Bilaspur, CG, successfully organised the 3rd Lakhmi Chand National Moot Court Competition, on September 27th and 28th, 2024. Hon'ble Mr Justice R. C. Samant Sir inaugurated the event. Hon'ble Mr Justice Goutam Bhaduri Sir and Hon'ble Mr Justice Radhakishan Agrawal Sir from the High Court of Chhattisgarh judged the final round, distributed prizes to the winners in a validatory event, and delivered a motivational lecture to law students. Mr. Ankit Jain Ji, the Vice Chairman, graced the finals and valedictory event with his presence. Teams from across India participated in elimination rounds, quarterfinals, semi-finals, and finals. Bharti Vidhvapeeth New Law College, Pune (Raaj Sahay, Diya Bhaskar, Ansh Tamrakal) emerged victorious in this competition. Runner Up was Maharastra National Law University (MNLU) (Devesh Shukla, Prasad Mutthe, Shaurya Mishra), Best Mooter was Debans Sahoo (Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, Uttrakhand), Best Memorial goes to School of Law, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and Best Researcher was Radhika Kumari (Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Chhattisgarh).
