Dean Message: Department of Legal Studies LCIT College of Commerce and Science

Dear students 

The Department of Legal Studies at LCIT College of Commerce and Science was established to transform our students and equip them all with the desirable skills. The curriculum and pedagogy have been designed with the most recent advancements in society and the legal profession in mind. Exercises in moot court have been available to students from the outset and encourage them to participate in different academic activities at both the national and international levels. With all of that, the mentors' and administration's attention to detail has given the students' experience a family-like atmosphere. The Department of Legal Studies organises national-level moot court competitions and law, cultural, and sports festivals; along with that, there are guest lectures, seminars, conferences, workshops, and webinars by legal scholars from different states and countries.

The Bilaspur district has subtropical, semiarid, continental, and monsoon-type weather. The vast, lush campus is home to world-class sports facilities. There are hostels with all contemporary amenities, a high-tech library, and excellent ICT-based classrooms. Our former students have made us proud by achieving remarkable positions in the legal profession, business, government, and other fields.
