On 5th April 2025, the Department of Law organized an expert lecture on “UNMAS” (United Nations Mine Action Service) delivered by Dr. Arun Verma, Associate Professor of Law. The lecture aimed to provide insights into the role, functions, and legal framework of UNMAS in global mine action efforts, including disarmament, humanitarian assistance, and post-conflict recovery.

Debate Competition (29th March 2025)

The Debate Competition was successfully conducted at the LCIT Department of Legal Studies. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 20 students, with 10 students speaking in favor of the motion and 10 students arguing against it. The topic for the debate was "Uniform Civil Code and Its Implementation." An audience of approximately 200 students attended the event, making it an engaging and insightful session.
Legal Aid Camp at Ratanpur (March 9, 2025)
Legal Aid Camp at Ratanpur
A legal aid camp was organized on March 9, 2025, at Ratanpur to educate the villagers about their legal rights and available legal aid services. 60 students and 6 teachers from our institution attended the camp. The primary objective was to educate the villagers about legal provisions, government schemes, and their rights, ensuring that they had access to justice.

LCIT Ki Adalat: The second episode was graced with the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Pramod Jain, Chairman, LCIT GOI, and Mrs. Savita Jain, Trustee, SSVT. Respected Sir and Ma'am, your insightful remarks underscored the importance of education and leadership in shaping the future of the nation. This benefitted the students. During the interview, the students actively participated and asked numerous questions. It was really a motivational show and will continue to motivate millions of students in the future. He highlighted how the platform streamlines legal research by providing access to a vast database of case laws, statutes, and legal precedents. Additionally, Mr. Kumar highlighted the AI-driven features that assist users in finding relevant information quickly and efficiently, ultimately enhancing their productivity in the legal field.
